ATTENTION: All Young Women In Harmony Chorus Directors, Music Teachers and Educators.
Most of you will be aware that the Young Singers In Harmony National Finals will take place on 12-13 August in Hamilton.
As part of this year's YSIH National Finals event I am pleased to inform you that on Friday 13th August will be a workshop day for anyone involved in working with / Directing Young Women in Harmony Choruses / Quartets.
The National finals competition will be a one-day event on the 12th Aug (Thurs) followed by this workshop running the next day. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone involved with YWIH.
This event will also target section leaders, students from YWIH Choruses / quartets who are interested.
I also highly encourage and recommend at least one or two student representatives / section leaders from every school group / quartet to attend as this workshop will be of incredible value to them to share with their own YWIH groups.
I am pleased to confirm that we have 3 Sweet Adelines International Faculty Members from USA who will be running this workshop for you:
- Lynne Smith (Showmanship);
- Shirley Kout (Sound); and
- Lea Beverly (Expression).
These fantastic women bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience to the barbershop craft and this is a day YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS.
